Who can be painted?
Anyone can be painted, male or female, adults or children. For a mother-to-be a belly painting session is often a relaxing and enjoyable way to celebrate their pregnancy.
Is it safe to be painted?
Yes. Wakanda uses ONLY professional paints that are meant for the skin. Most of the paints are watersoluble - they wash off easily with water and soap and they are suitable for children too. In addition to paints she uses all other kinds of make-up products (eg. glitter, shimmers, adhesive) to enhance our art works. All the products Wakanda uses are of cosmetic grade and therefore meant for the skin. If you are allergic to some cosmetic ingredients, together you can make sure beforehand which products are safe for you.
What is body painting used for?
Body painting can be used in fine arts, but it is also a perfect tool to make an impact at parties and events, on exhibition stands, on advertising, promotions and music videos. Body painting always attracts attention and becomes a special talking point among the viewers and guests. It can be used in many ways to benefit your project. Wakanda can create any design tailored to your product, theme or requirements, there are no limits.
I have never been painted before, what can I expect?
Being body painted is a unique experience, right up there with skydiving and deep sea snorkeling. It’s a way to release your inhibitions about being naked in an artistic and tasteful way. You should expect to feel awkward at first, but as you get painted, you start to feel much more comfortable. It’s a long process, but liberating in the end.
What is a partial body design vs. a full body design?
Partial body designs focus on the upper torso, waist up. Examples of this can be a shirt, corset, or abstract design. These differ in price from a full body design which includes legs and pelvic area.
